For 4 Friday Evenings at the YMCA Academy, 3:30 - 5:30 Dinner Club and 5:30-8:30 for the YMCA Academy Social. Happening May 27, June 3, June 10 & June 17. Includes video games, music, dancing, ordered refreshments and games.

60 hours of work preparation workshops. Can be completed independently though remote learning portal, remotely with the support of our Employment Partners VPI Working Solutions, or in person with the support of a NextSTEP Job Coach.
Up to 26 weeks of paid training placement to gain valuable work experience. 10 hours per week of training in one of our 4 entry level positions: Event Coordinator, Group Facilitator, Group Guide or Clubhouse Staff Member. Opportunity for continued employment with career advancement.
Employment conditional upon evaluation of necessary skills and experience for desired position. Members who do not yet meet demonstrate all of the necessary skills for employment upon evaluation, can enroll in our Facilitator in Training Program for continued learning to upgrade skills.
